In February of 1964, nearly 74 million Americans tuned into the Ed Sullivan show and witnessed the explosion of "Beatlemania" in the US, the iconic sounds of the Beatles have thrilled Americans ever since. The vast catalog of music created and performed by the "fab four" has often provided a unique soundtrack for monumental events in our country's history; especially our struggles with racism, and civil liberties for all Americans.

This year, singing artists across the country are celebrating the 50th anniversary of our infatuation with the mop-top quartet. In June, the men of the Sacramento Gay Men's Chorus are offering their tribute to the Beatles and invite Sacramento audiences to "Come Together" for a unique production of music, video and dance at the historic Crest Theatre.

Mark your calendars and tell your friends: June 6 & 7, SGMC will be offering three performances featuring the chorus' interpretation of your favorite Beatles songs along with a broader story of conflict, triumph, pride and love.
