The 2014 Holiday Show presented a mixture of classic and contemporary music featuring the best qualities of SGMC – fine musicianship combined with unparalleled entertainment. A variety of musical genres from the sounds of traditional holiday classics (like God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Biebel’s Ave Maria and the jubilant Gloria by John Rutter) to the energizing and nostalgic songs from the stop-motion & animation holiday specials of the 60s and 70s (Heat Miser/Snow Miser, You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch, Silver & Gold) offered a captivating concert experience.

Our audience took a journey along with the chorus through SGMC’s own Gay-Mation Holiday special – a scripted tale of gay, disgruntled holiday naysayer visiting a special and magical antique & collectables store, where he was reminded of the dreams and joys of the holidays until he emerged as the glittering and statuesque Snow Queen. Finally, building upon the enthusiasm for the Maddux Do You Hear What I Hear, SGMC presented the premiere of a new arrangement “mash up” of Do You Hear What I Hear & Little Drummer Boy.
